Mohamed Salah ranks among the world’s leading assist providers since 2020

Mohamed Salah has continued to make an impact since joining Trabzonspor this summer, with his creative ability complementing the goalscoring form that has already brought him four goals in five Turkish league appearances.

The Egypt international, 34, is widely recognised for his composure in front of goal, but figures published by PopFoot place him among the most productive creators in world football since 2020.

The former Liverpool star has recorded 100 assists in 343 matches during that period, giving him an average of 0.29 assists per game and putting him third in the global standings.

Salah the only African in the top 10

Only Bruno Fernandes and Kevin De Bruyne rank above Salah. Manchester United midfielder Fernandes leads the list with 121 assists in 385 matches, while De Bruyne is second with 105 assists in 276 games.
