Seydouba Cissé, the talented Guinean striker, has reacquainted himself with his responsibilities at Club Deportivo Leganés in the Spanish second division following his participation with the Syli National at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

Returning to Leganés after Guinea’s quarter-final exit from AFCON, Cissé is set to resume training with the Pepineros on Wednesday, February 8.

The 22-year-old center forward, having played a pivotal role in Guinea’s campaign, will now shift his focus back to his club’s upcoming challenges.

Leganés, currently leading the Liga Adelante with 46 points, is positioned favorably for promotion.

Seydouba Cissé’s return adds depth and firepower to the team as they prepare for their next match against Levante on the 26th day of the league.

Having featured in 18 matches across various competitions for Leganés this season, Cissé brings valuable experience and goal-scoring prowess to the team.

The young striker’s contributions will be crucial as Leganés aims to maintain its pole position and secure promotion to higher tiers of Spanish football.

As Seydouba Cissé integrates back into the Leganés squad, fans anticipate his dynamic presence on the field, hopeful that his form and momentum from the AFCON will translate into success for both club and country.
