Wilfried Zaha linked with Malaga move after leaving Galatasaray
Wilfried Zaha, the Ivorian-English winger currently without a club, is being linked with a move to Malaga in Spain’s La Liga.
The 33-year-old became unattached after leaving Galatasaray on 1 July 2026. He had joined the Turkish club from Crystal Palace in July 2023 and was part of their 2023-24 Turkish championship-winning side.
Zaha spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Charlotte before returning to Galatasaray, where his spell ended after three years. His current market value is listed at €3.5m.
The winger has extensive experience in English football, making 305 Premier League appearances and scoring 68 goals, with 31 assists. He also played 126 times in the Championship, scoring 13 goals and providing 15 assists.
A move to Malaga would represent a return to European football after Zaha’s recent spells in Turkey and Major League Soccer. He previously played in Ligue 1 during a loan spell with Lyon, before joining Charlotte on loan in January 2025.
Zaha’s career has also included two spells with Manchester United, although most of his Premier League appearances came with Crystal Palace. He remains without a club as the reported interest from Malaga develops.
