Isaac Asante linked with Suduva move from Panevezys

Belgian-Ghanaian attacking midfielder Isaac Asante has been linked with a move from Panevezys to fellow Lithuanian top-flight club Suduva.

Asante, 24, has made 23 Toplyga appearances for Panevezys this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He has also featured twice in Conference League qualifying, registering one assist.

The midfielder joined Panevezys from Belgian club KV Mechelen on a free transfer in February 2025. He helped the Lithuanian side win the Lithuanian Cup later that year.

Asante’s current contract with Panevezys runs until 31 December 2026. His market value is listed at €350,000.

The potential move would keep Asante in the Toplyga, with Suduva and Panevezys both competing in Lithuania’s leading division. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the link remains at rumour stage.
