Telmo Arcanjo: Remo linked with Vitoria Guimaraes winger

Cape Verdean-Portuguese winger Telmo Arcanjo, currently with Vitoria Guimaraes, has been linked with a move to Brazilian Serie A club Remo.

The 25-year-old has made three Liga Portugal appearances for Vitoria Guimaraes this season, playing 39 minutes without scoring or assisting. He has not started a league match during the campaign.

Arcanjo joined Vitoria Guimaraes from Tondela in July 2023 in a deal worth €492,000. He helped the club win the Portuguese League Cup in the 2025-26 season, one year after being named Liga Portugal 2’s Midfielder of the Year.

The left-footed right winger also featured twice for Cape Verde at the 2026 World Cup, making one start. He recorded no goals or assists at the tournament.

A move to Remo would take Arcanjo from Portugal’s top flight to Brazil’s Serie A, although the available information does not indicate that an agreement has been reached or provide details of any proposed fee.

Arcanjo is contracted to Vitoria Guimaraes until 30 June 2027, meaning the Portuguese club would retain control of his registration if transfer discussions develop.
