Morocco midfielder Mounir Habach joins Moghreb Tetouan on free transfer

Morocco defensive midfielder Mounir Habach has joined Moghreb Tetouan on a free transfer from Mouloudia, completing his move to the Botola Pro Inwi club.

The 26-year-old, who was born in Tanger, switches clubs on 10 September 2026 after spending the previous season with Mouloudia. No transfer fee is attached to the move.

Habach has made 12 appearances during the 2026-27 campaign, featuring in the Excellence Cup, Botola Pro Inwi and the Coupe du Trone Marocaine. He has provided one assist in 451 minutes of Excellence Cup action.

The right-footed midfielder began the season with Mouloudia before moving to Moghreb Tetouan. He had joined Mouloudia from Wydad AC on a free transfer in August 2025, following a season with the Casablanca club.

His spell at Wydad came after a move from AS Sale in August 2023. Earlier in his career, Habach played for Ouarzazate and came through the FAR Rabat youth setup before entering senior football.

Habach now adds experience across Morocco’s domestic competitions to the Moghreb Tetouan squad, having played in the Excellence Cup, Botola Pro Inwi and the national cup this season.

Moghreb Tetouan have registered the midfielder after his free transfer from Mouloudia, with the move dated 10 September 2026.
