Real Madrid will achieve many successes this season – Franco-Cameroonian star Mbappé

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé is confident the Spanish giants are capable of enjoying a highly successful 2026/27 campaign after making an impressive start to the new season.

Mbappe, who has France and Cameroon roots was named Real Madrid’s Player of the Month for August following his outstanding performances during the opening weeks of the campaign.

Mbappé has quickly established himself as one of the key figures in José Mourinho’s side, helping the team maintain a perfect start across their opening fixtures.

Real Madrid have also made a strong beginning to their Champions League campaign, securing a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Following the impressive start, Mbappé believes the team can go on to achieve major honours this season.

“We have started the season well and I hope we can continue like this next Saturday. I think we will achieve many successes this season,” Mbappé said in an interview published on Real Madrid’s official website.

The French forward, who has continued to carry significant attacking responsibility for the club, also expressed his determination to contribute to the team’s ambitions throughout the campaign.

“I am eagerly looking forward to helping the team and proving our ability to achieve great things this year. I am always happy to play here; I know it is a great honor,” he added.

Mbappé has already demonstrated his importance to Mourinho’s plans, with his goalscoring ability and movement providing Real Madrid with a major threat in the final third.

His confidence comes at a time when the club is looking to build a winning mentality under Mourinho and challenge for the biggest trophies available.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward also welcomed the arrival of Real Madrid’s new signings, insisting that the squad has worked to ensure the newcomers settle quickly into the team.

“It’s always good to see new faces. They are excited to serve the Real Madrid badge. We have made sure that everyone adapts as smoothly as possible so that we can all move in the same direction,” Mbappé concluded.

With Real Madrid already enjoying an unbeaten start and Mbappé in strong form, the Frenchman will now be hoping his individual recognition can be followed by collective success.
