Eli Junior Kroupi transfer battle brewing as Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City circle

Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi could become one of the Premier League’s most sought-after players in 2027, with Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City all monitoring his situation.

Tottenham had been preparing an approach for the 20-year-old during the summer before an untimely injury disrupted their plans. Kroupi suffered a foot problem in pre-season, forcing Spurs to put their pursuit on hold.

The France-born forward subsequently underwent surgery and has yet to play this season. He is expected to return to action around October or November, giving Bournemouth time to oversee his recovery before the transfer spotlight intensifies again.

Tottenham’s interest has not disappeared despite their summer acquisition of Omar Marmoush. However, Spurs now face competition from several of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, with Arsenal and Chelsea also understood to be keeping a close eye on Kroupi.

Manchester City have regularly monitored the Bournemouth attacker and could emerge as a particularly serious contender if a move begins to take shape in 2027.

Bournemouth slap huge price tag on Kroupi

Bournemouth are aware that Kroupi’s performances have attracted the attention of England’s elite and have taken steps to protect one of their most valuable assets.

The club have placed a price tag approaching £100 million on the forward, a valuation designed to discourage potential suitors and make any attempt to prise him away from the Vitality Stadium considerably more difficult.

That strategy helped Bournemouth retain Kroupi when Tottenham explored a move during the summer.

There is currently confidence that the youngster will remain with Bournemouth throughout the season as he focuses on completing his rehabilitation and returning to full fitness.

The situation, however, could change rapidly if Kroupi rediscovers the form that established him as one of the Premier League’s most exciting young forwards last season.

Kroupi made his Bournemouth debut last August and quickly demonstrated why the club have placed such a high valuation on his services.

He scored 13 goals across all competitions during his breakthrough campaign, establishing himself as a significant attacking threat despite his age.

His emergence also earned wider recognition when he was nominated for the Men’s Young Talent of the Year award ahead of the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
