Aliou Badji joins Levadiakos as Senegalese striker leaves Sivasspor

Senegalese centre-forward Aliou Badji has joined Greek club Levadiakos from Turkish side Sivasspor on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old’s move was completed on 8 September, taking him to Levadiakos in Greece’s Super League 1 after his time with Sivasspor in Turkey’s 1.Lig. Badji’s arrival gives the Greek club an experienced attacking option in the centre-forward position.

Badji leaves Sivasspor without a transfer fee being paid for his move to Greece. His recorded market value is €500,000, although that figure is separate from the terms of the completed transfer.

The switch marks a change of league and country for the Senegal international, who will now continue his career in Greece after representing a Turkish club. Levadiakos have secured his services as they strengthen their forward options with a player whose primary position is through the middle.
