Rwanda and France winger Noam Emeran has joined Swiss Challenge League club StadeLO from FC Groningen on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old left winger completed the move on 8 September 2026, switching from the Dutch Eredivisie to Switzerland. Emeran is left-footed and stands 1.82m tall.

Emeran spent the first part of the 2025-26 season with Groningen before moving to FC Emmen on loan on 3 February 2026. He returned to Groningen at the end of that campaign, prior to completing his move to StadeLO.

The winger joined Groningen in August 2023 after leaving Manchester United Under-21s as a free agent. His move to the Dutch club followed several years in the Manchester United academy, where he had progressed from the youth side to the Under-18s and then the Under-23s.

Emeran began his youth career with Entente SSG before joining Amiens Under-17s in 2017. He moved from Amiens to Manchester United’s youth system in February 2019 in a transfer valued at €2m.

His arrival gives StadeLO a player with experience of clubs in both the Netherlands and England’s academy system. He joins the Swiss club after a spell with Groningen and a loan period at Emmen, having made his latest change of club at the start of September.

Emeran’s move to StadeLO was completed on 8 September 2026.
