Pyramids FC management has formally confirmed the appointment of Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić as the new head coach of the first team for the upcoming phase.
The new head coach arrived in Cairo yesterday and finalized his agreement with Pyramids FC management, led by club president Mamdouh Eid and Amr Bassiouni, the director of contracts.
He will lead the team’s training session today for the first time alongside his coaching staff at the Cairo International Stadium in preparation for their first official match against Zed FC in the Premier League on February 14.

Jurčić boasts an illustrious career both as a player and a coach, having achieved numerous titles throughout his football journey.
As a player, he featured for several Croatian clubs and also played for Sampdoria and Torino in the Italian Serie A before retiring in 2002.
His coaching career began thereafter, where he managed several prominent clubs, including Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia, as well as serving as an assistant coach for the Croatian national team.
He has also coached Maribor, Adanaspor in Turkey, Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Baniyas and Al-Nasr in the UAE, and led the Saudi national team in the Gulf Cup in Kuwait.
Jurčić has an impressive list of achievements as a coach, having won the Croatian League three times, the Croatian Cup once, and the Croatian Super Cup once with Dinamo Zagreb.
Additionally, he clinched the UAE Pro League title once with Al-Nassr.
He has also guided Croatian clubs to participate in both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League tournaments.
