Taha Majni linked with Crystal Palace move after joining from Union Touarga

Morocco centre-back Taha Majni, currently with Crystal Palace U21, has been linked with a move to Premier League club Crystal Palace from Union Touarga.

The 18-year-old joined Palace’s Under-21 side on 1 September 2026 after leaving the Moroccan club, with the reported move connecting him to Crystal Palace’s senior setup.

Majni has yet to make an appearance for Palace U21 in the Premier League International Cup this season. He has not started a match or recorded a goal or assist in the competition.

The defender was born in Casablanca on 11 October 2007 and stands 1.87m tall. He is right-footed and plays at centre-back.

Majni was part of the Morocco Under-20 team that won the Under-20 World Cup in 2025, the most significant honour recorded in his career to date.

He moved into senior football with Union Touarga from the club’s youth system in July 2025 before making the switch to Palace U21 at the start of September. His current market value is listed at €500,000.

The reported Palace interest comes as Majni begins his time in English football, although he remains listed as a Palace Under-21 player and has not yet featured in the current campaign.
