Adem Saidi: Tunisia left-back joins CS Redeyef on loan from CS Sfaxien
Tunisia defender Adem Saidi has joined CS Redeyef from CS Sfaxien on a season-long loan, giving the 23-year-old left-back a new opportunity in Tunisian football.
Saidi’s move was completed on 6 September 2026 and the loan is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the switch.
The Sfax-born defender returns to club football after spending the previous campaign on loan at PS Sakiet Edda. That temporary move ended on 30 June 2026, when Saidi returned to CS Sfaxien before being sent out again.
Saidi is a naturally left-footed defender whose main position is left-back. He joined CS Sfaxien’s senior side from the club’s under-21 team in July 2024, having developed within the Sfax football system.
His time at Sfaxien has included further loan spells. He moved to Sfax Railways in August 2024 and returned to CS Sfaxien in January 2025 before joining PS Sakiet Edda the following season. The transfer to Redeyef is his latest temporary move away from the club.
The defender remains under contract with CS Sfaxien until 30 June 2027, with the arrangement at CS Redeyef also ending on that date. His contract status means he is due to return to Sfaxien when the loan expires.
Saidi has already won a major domestic honour with CS Sfaxien, helping the club claim the Tunisian Cup in the 2021-22 season. The success came before his move into the senior squad from the club’s under-21 setup.
CS Redeyef are competing in Tunisia’s Ligue 1 and the CAF Confederation Cup during the 2026-27 season. Saidi’s arrival adds a left-sided defensive option to their squad for the campaign, although he had not yet made an appearance in either competition at the time of the transfer.
The move continues a pattern of loan assignments for Saidi, who has also represented Sfax Railways and PS Sakiet Edda away from his parent club. At Redeyef, he will spend the season on loan from CS Sfaxien until 30 June 2027.
