Champions League returns as Real Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal headline packed football week

European football returns this week with the UEFA Champions League league phase beginning on Tuesday, when Real Madrid host Inter, Liverpool meet Atletico Madrid and Napoli play Arsenal across three major nights of action.

The domestic programme is also busy in South Africa, with Kaizer Chiefs travelling to Polokwane City, Mamelodi Sundowns hosting Siwelele and Chippa United facing Sundowns on Saturday in the Betway Premiership. LaLiga’s Matchday 5 includes Real Madrid against Rayo Vallecano and Levante’s meeting with Barcelona, while the Premier League weekend ends with the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
