Pikine complete move for Senegal striker Cheikhna Sane from Sacre-Cur
Senegal striker Cheikhna Sane has joined Pikine from Sacre-Cur, completing a move to the Ligue 1 club on 6 September 2026.
The 18-year-old forward has signed a contract with Pikine that runs until 30 June 2028. Sane plays as a striker and becomes part of the club’s senior squad after spending the previous period of his career with Sacre-Cur.
Sane made two Ligue 1 appearances before the move, playing a total of 81 minutes. The teenager’s senior experience has come in Senegal’s top flight, giving him an early opportunity to establish himself at the highest domestic level.
His time at Sacre-Cur followed a progression through the club’s youth structure. He moved from Sacre-Cur Under-20s to the senior side on 1 January 2026, having previously played for Sacre-Cur Under-17s.
The move keeps Sane in Senegal’s Ligue 1 and marks the next stage of his development with Pikine. The club’s decision to secure the striker on a contract lasting through June 2028 gives him a defined spell in which to compete for further first-team opportunities.
Sane was born on 3 January 2008 and holds Senegalese nationality. He joins Pikine with a market value of €10,000 and arrives after making his early senior appearances in the same competition in which his new club plays.
The transfer also represents a direct move between two Ligue 1 clubs, with Sane leaving Sacre-Cur for Pikine at the start of the 2026-27 season. His previous senior experience, youth background and position provide the foundation for his arrival at the new club.
Cheikhna Sane is now a Pikine player under contract until 30 June 2028.
