Karim Farhoun swaps Khemisset for Beni Mellal in latest Moroccan move
Morocco centre-forward Karim Farhoun has joined Beni Mellal from Khemisset on a free transfer, adding another domestic move to the 31-year-old’s career.
Farhoun completed the switch on 6 September 2026 after spending the previous season with Khemisset. His arrival gives Beni Mellal a forward who has played across Morocco’s domestic game, with his latest move continuing a series of transfers between clubs in the country.
He joined Khemisset from USM Oujda on 25 August 2025, also on a free transfer. Before that, Farhoun spent two seasons with USM Oujda after moving from Widad Temara in August 2023. His time at Widad Temara followed a spell with Wydad Fes, whom he joined from Moghreb Tetouan in January 2022.
Farhoun’s early senior career included periods with Difaa El Jadida and Stade Marocain. He moved into the senior game from DHJ U21, joining Difaa El Jadida in January 2015, before subsequently spending time without a club ahead of his move to Stade Marocain in July 2017.
The 1.68m forward has already featured in Moroccan competitions during the 2026-27 campaign. He made three appearances in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine and two in the Excellence Cup, playing a combined 347 minutes. He is listed as a centre-forward and was born in El Jadida on 8 June 1995.
Beni Mellal becomes the latest destination in a career that has taken Farhoun through clubs including Khemisset, USM Oujda, Widad Temara, Wydad Fes, Moghreb Tetouan, Stade Marocain and Difaa El Jadida. The move also brings him back to a club from the Beni Mellal area after his previous domestic experience elsewhere in Morocco.
Farhoun’s transfer to Beni Mellal was completed on 6 September 2026.
