Bertrand Traore set for Wolverhampton move after completing medical

Bertrand Traore is close to joining Wolverhampton after successfully completing his medical, with the Burkina Faso international expected to sign for the Championship club shortly.

The 30-year-old forward is set to agree a one-year contract with the Wolves, with the proposed deal including an option for a further season. That additional year could be triggered if Wolverhampton secure promotion to the Premier League.

Traore’s move has been reported by Dave Azzopardi, who says the player has passed the required medical examination and is now expected to complete the next stage of the transfer. Although the agreement has not yet been formally confirmed, the process has reached an advanced point.

If finalised, the switch would give Traore another opportunity to continue his career in England. He has already had several spells in the country and is now preparing for a new challenge with Wolverhampton, who are currently competing in the Championship.
