Saad El Khaloufi switches clubs as Beni Mellal secure Morocco goalkeeper

Morocco goalkeeper Saad El Khaloufi has joined Beni Mellal from Kenitra on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old completed the move on 4 September 2026, adding a right-footed goalkeeper to Beni Mellal’s squad. El Khaloufi was born in Kenitra on 1 January 1994 and has spent his career with clubs in Morocco.

He arrives after four years with Kenitra, having joined the club from Wafa Driouch on 16 August 2022. That move was also completed without a transfer fee, giving El Khaloufi a direct link with the club he has now left.

Before his spell at Kenitra, El Khaloufi played for Wafa Driouch during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. He joined Wafa Driouch from RS Kenitra on 1 July 2020, again as a free transfer.

His route through Moroccan football began with AUS Bentaieb, from whom he moved to RS Kenitra on 1 July 2018. Each of the goalkeeper’s recorded career moves has been completed without a fee.

El Khaloufi’s arrival at Beni Mellal represents the latest stage of a career built through successive moves between Moroccan clubs. He now joins the club after four seasons at Kenitra and a total of more than eight years since leaving AUS Bentaieb.

The goalkeeper’s previous transfer to Kenitra came in August 2022, while his move to Beni Mellal was completed in September 2026. The deal is a free transfer, with no fee involved.
