Khalid Aboudou joins US Bejaad to strengthen midfield options

Khalid Aboudou, the 32-year-old Moroccan defensive midfielder, has joined US Bejaad from Oly. Marrakech on a free transfer.

Aboudou completed the move on 4 September 2026, returning to the Bejaad area after leaving Oly. Marrakech, where he had spent the opening part of the 2025-26 campaign. The switch gives US Bejaad a midfielder with experience across Moroccan football and adds another option in the defensive area of the team.

The Marrakech-born player has featured four times in the current campaign, making two appearances in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine and two in the Excellence Cup. He has played 292 minutes across those matches.

Aboudou is listed as a defensive midfielder and prefers his right foot. Standing at 1.73m, he has spent much of his career moving between clubs in Morocco, with each of his recorded transfers since 2021 completed without a fee.

Before moving to US Bejaad, he joined Oly. Marrakech from Youssoufia on 24 January 2026. That followed a switch from O. Khouribga to Youssoufia in September 2025, also without a transfer fee.

His earlier career included spells with Ben Guerir, Berrechid and Olympique Dcheira. He moved from Berrechid to Ben Guerir in July 2021 after first joining Berrechid from Olymp. Dcheira six months earlier. His time with Olymp. Dcheira began in July 2018.

The move to US Bejaad is the latest change in a sequence of Moroccan club transfers for Aboudou, who has now continued his career with a new side at the age of 32. His arrival also reunites him with the Bejaad footballing scene after his previous spell at Oly. Marrakech.

Aboudou has signed a contract with US Bejaad running until 30 June 2027.
