Mamadou Fall joins Istanbulspor as Senegal winger begins new Turkish chapter

Senegal winger Mamadou Fall has joined Istanbulspor from Kasimpasa, switching from the Turkish top flight to the 1. Lig on 4 September 2026.

The 34-year-old right winger has agreed a contract with Istanbulspor until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move, which brings Fall to his latest club after a spell with Kasimpasa.

Fall spent the opening part of the 2026-27 season with Kasimpasa but did not make an appearance in the three possible Super Lig matches recorded before his departure. He now joins an Istanbulspor side competing in Turkey’s second tier, where he will provide an experienced option on the right side of attack.

The move follows a loan spell at Bandirma Spor during the 2025-26 season. Fall joined Bandirma from Kasimpasa on 6 February 2026 and returned to his parent club at the end of the campaign on 30 June.

He originally moved to Kasimpasa from Belgian club R Charleroi SC in January 2022 for €800,000. His time at Charleroi also included a loan spell at KAS Eupen during the 2018-19 season, while he had earlier spent time on loan at White Star.

Born in Dakar, Fall stands 1.84m tall and favours his right foot. He began his senior club career with Port Autonome before moving to Charleroi in July 2013, establishing a career that has included football in Belgium and Turkey.

Fall’s arrival gives Istanbulspor a new attacking option as the club continues its 2026-27 campaign. He has now signed for Istanbulspor on a contract running through June 2027.
