Kasimpasa sign Ghanaian-English winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace

Ghanaian-English winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has joined Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa from Crystal Palace, bringing an end to his time with the Premier League side.

The 23-year-old right winger completed the move on 4 September 2026 and becomes a Kasimpasa player after a period in which he spent much of his senior career away from Palace on loan. No transfer fee has been disclosed.

Rak-Sakyi is a left-footed wide player who was born in London and stands 1.78m tall. He joined Crystal Palace from Chelsea’s youth system in 2019 before progressing through the club’s academy.

His Palace career included a series of loan spells. He moved to Charlton Athletic in August 2022 and later joined Sheffield United for the 2024-25 season. During the following campaign, he spent time with Turkish side C. Rizespor before returning to England for a loan spell at Stoke City.

Rak-Sakyi returned to Crystal Palace from Stoke on 31 May 2026, before switching to Kasimpasa at the start of September. The move takes him from the Premier League to Turkey’s top division as he begins a new chapter in his career.

He made his mark in Palace’s development set-up during the 2021-22 season, finishing as the Premier League 2 top scorer with 18 goals. He also won the Premier League International Cup once.

Rak-Sakyi’s record at youth level helped establish him as a notable attacking player within Palace’s system, while his sequence of loans gave him experience with clubs in England and Turkey. His arrival at Kasimpasa reunites him with Turkish football after his earlier spell with C. Rizespor.

The winger is eligible to represent both Ghana and England, reflecting his dual nationality. He now joins a Kasimpasa side competing in the Super Lig, with the move formally confirmed on 4 September.
