Sivasspor sign Gambian striker Ebrima Ceesay from Samsunspor on loan
Gambian centre-forward Ebrima Ceesay has joined Sivasspor from Samsunspor on loan, completing a move that will keep him at the Turkish club until 30 June 2027.
The 20-year-old switched clubs on 4 September 2026 and becomes part of a Sivasspor side competing in Turkey’s 1. Lig. Ceesay, who stands 1.85m tall and prefers his right foot, joins after beginning the 2026-27 campaign with Samsunspor in the Super Lig.
Ceesay’s move gives him the opportunity to continue his development at a new club after making his previous switch to Samsunspor from BK Milan FC in July 2025. That transfer was completed as a free move.
The striker has yet to make a senior appearance for Sivasspor. He was not involved in the club’s first three possible Super Lig 2026-27 matches before making the switch, with no appearances, goals or assists recorded during that period.
Ceesay’s arrival adds a centre-forward to Sivasspor’s attacking options, although the club’s available transfer details do not include a fee for the loan. His market value is listed at €50,000.
The transfer also links the Gambian forward with a club whose immediate competitive focus is the 1. Lig, following his arrival from a side operating in Turkey’s top flight. Ceesay’s earlier spell at Samsunspor lasted from July 2025 until the move to Sivasspor was completed.
He will remain registered with Samsunspor beyond the loan period, with the agreement scheduled to end on 30 June 2027. The move therefore represents a temporary switch rather than a permanent transfer.
Ceesay has now officially completed his loan move from Samsunspor to Sivasspor.
