Sivasspor tracking Sunderland midfielder Abdoullah Ba
Abdoullah Ba, the French-Mauritanian midfielder currently with Sunderland, has been linked with a move to Turkish club Sivasspor.
Ba, 23, plays on the right side of midfield and remains under contract at Sunderland until 30 June 2027. The proposed destination is Sivasspor, who are listed in Turkey’s 1.Lig, while Sunderland compete in the Premier League.
The midfielder has yet to feature for Sunderland this season, with the club having played two possible league matches. He has not started, made an appearance or registered a goal or assist during the campaign so far.
Ba joined Sunderland from Le Havre in August 2022 in a deal recorded at €1m. He spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at USL Dunkerque before returning to the English club at the end of that campaign.
His current market value is listed at €1.5m, below the €4m peak recorded during his time at Sunderland. The available information does not indicate whether the clubs have opened formal negotiations, nor does it include a proposed fee or the structure of any potential move.
For now, the link with Sivasspor remains a transfer rumour, with Ba retaining more than nine months on his Sunderland contract.
