Al Ahly Bank has successfully secured the signatures of six players during the winter transfer window, following the closure of the transfer deadline earlier today, Tuesday.
The signings for Al Ahly Bank include: Moussa Farawi from Palestine, Yao Anwar, Mohamed Abdelghani, Ahmed Rabie, Abdelaziz El Sayed, and Osama Faisal.
Ashraf Nassar, President of Al Ahly Bank, shed light on the failed transfer of Mohamed Abu Jabal, the team’s goalkeeper, to Al Ahly Club during the ongoing winter transfer window, following intense negotiations in recent weeks.
Nassar stated in an interview on the “Sabah On Time” program, “The matter did not exceed negotiations regarding Abu Jabal, and the outcome is known to everyone.
This does not diminish the value of Mohamed Abu Jabal; he is an exceptional goalkeeper who performs to the best of his abilities.
Everything was within the framework of negotiations, including our discussions with El Zanfaly, and this chapter has now been closed.”
The President of Al Ahly Bank continued, “All our players have their roles, and all reinforcements will make a difference.
Our focus was on acquiring a goalkeeper and a right-back, and thankfully, we have achieved our goal for the winter transfer window.”
He concluded by saying, “We utilized the break and the League Cup competitions to prepare the team.
We discussed the winter reinforcements with Tarek Mostafa and fulfilled 100% of its requirements.
We are preparing to resume the league on February 13th to position the team where it deserves to be.”
