Ceramica triumphs over Al-Ittihad, secures spot in Al-Talea’a final in Egypt’s League Cup

At Alexandria Stadium, Ceramica secured a remarkable victory over Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandary, advancing to the final of the Egyptian League Cup for the second consecutive year.

The victory came after defeating the title contenders during the semi-final clash held on Tuesday evening.

With this outcome, Ceramica sets up a formidable showdown against Al-Talea’a Al-Jaish in the league cup final.

Al-Talea’a Al-Jaish secured their spot in the final after a penalty shootout victory against Al-Masry Al-Borsaidy, with a final score of 4-2, following a 1-1 draw in regular time.

Ahmed Qandousi opened the scoring for Ceramica Cleopatra in the 27th minute of the first half, heading in a superb cross from the right flank past Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Mehdi Soliman.
