Officials at Zed FC have successfully concluded their winter transfer window dealings by securing the signatures of five new players.
The acquisitions come after the closure of the winter transfer window, which commenced on January 1st and lasted until February 6th, following a decision to extend the window for clubs.
The new signings for Zed FC include Rashid Ahmed, Mahmoud Nabil, Abdulrahman Al Banoubi, Abdullah Bakri, and Ahmed El-Sagheeri.
Throughout the past period, the Player Affairs Administration of the Emergency Football Association has been working tirelessly, especially during the final hours, to facilitate the registration process for clubs.
This was prompted by the Emergency Football Association’s board of directors assigning Karim Hazeen, Director of Player Affairs, to collaborate with clubs and streamline the registration process, a task that is currently being accomplished.
The Emergency Football Association’s board of directors extended the winter registration period for clubs following significant congestion at the association’s headquarters on the final day of registration last Wednesday.
This extension was enacted to safeguard the interests of clubs and enable them to register players and reinforce their squads during the winter period.
The winter registration for clubs in the Premier League ends today, Tuesday, February 6th, instead of Wednesday, January 31st.
Meanwhile, the registration for clubs in the second division concludes on Thursday, February 8th, instead of Wednesday, January 31st.
For clubs in the third and fourth divisions, registration ends on Sunday, February 11th, instead of Wednesday, January 31st.
