Ademola Ola-Adebomi: Lokeren add England and Nigeria forward on deal until 2028

England and Nigeria forward Ademola Ola-Adebomi has joined Belgian club KSC Lokeren from Austrian side WSG Tirol, bringing a 23-year-old centre-forward to the Challenger Pro League.

Ola-Adebomi has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028 after leaving WSG Tirol, whom he joined from Crystal Palace Under-21s in July 2025 on a free transfer. The transfer was completed on 3 September 2026.

The 1.95m forward arrives at Lokeren after making one Bundesliga appearance for WSG Tirol this season. He also scored once in one appearance in the OFB-Cup, giving him two senior appearances and one goal during the current campaign.

Born in London, Ola-Adebomi has represented both England and Nigeria in his nationality background. He is a left-footed centre-forward and developed through Crystal Palace’s academy before moving into the club’s Under-21 team.

His time at Palace Under-21s included loan spells with Burton Albion and SK Beveren. He joined Burton in January 2024 and made the move to Beveren in August that year, before returning to Palace’s academy side in January 2025.

Ola-Adebomi’s move to WSG Tirol followed shortly afterwards, with the Austrian club securing his services without a transfer fee. He now moves across the border to Belgium, where Lokeren compete in the Challenger Pro League.

The striker has one Premier League International Cup winners’ medal to his name. His early 2026-27 record includes an appearance in Austria’s domestic cup and a brief Bundesliga outing before his switch to Lokeren.

Lokeren have made the arrival part of their squad for the 2026-27 season, with Ola-Adebomi taking his next step after spells in England, Belgium and Austria. The transfer gives him a new club in the Belgian second tier following his departure from WSG Tirol.

Ola-Adebomi has completed his move from WSG Tirol to KSC Lokeren on a contract that runs until June 2028.
