Colin Dagba linked with Carrarese move after leaving Beerschot

France and Benin defender Colin Dagba, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Italian Serie B side Carrarese.

The 27-year-old right-back left Belgian club Beerschot on 1 July 2026, ending a spell that began when he joined from Paris St-Germain in September 2024. Carrarese’s interest would offer Dagba a route into Italian football as he considers his next club.

Dagba came through the youth system at Boulogne before moving to PSG’s academy in 2016. He made his senior debut for the Paris club and went on to record 76 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring once and providing three assists.

During his time at PSG, Dagba won three French league titles, two French Cups, one French League Cup and two French Super Cups. He also spent periods on loan at Strasbourg and AJ Auxerre, helping the latter win the French second tier and secure promotion to Ligue 1 in the 2023-24 season.

His move to Beerschot was completed as a free transfer, and he subsequently played in both Belgium’s top flight and Challenger Pro League. Career records show 19 appearances in each competition, alongside four assists in the second tier and one in the Jupiler Pro League.

Dagba’s current market value is listed at €500,000, but no transfer fee has been indicated in connection with the reported move to Carrarese.
