Sanders Ngabo returns to Lyngby as Hacken midfielder joins on loan
Danish-Burundian midfielder Sanders Ngabo has joined Lyngby BK from Swedish club Hacken on loan, returning to the Danish side where he began his senior career.
The 22-year-old central midfielder’s move was completed on 2 September 2026, with the loan running until 30 June 2027. Ngabo’s contract with Lyngby is listed through the same date.
Ngabo returns to the Superliga club after just over a year with Hacken, who signed him from AC Horsens in July 2025 for €1m. He moved to Horsens from Philadelphia in August 2024 before making the switch to Sweden.
The move brings Ngabo back to Lyngby, where he progressed from the club’s youth set-up to its under-19 side before joining the senior squad in August 2021. He later left Denmark for Philadelphia in January 2024.
Born in Sundby, Ngabo has Denmark and Burundi nationality. He stands 1.74m tall and is right-footed, with central midfield listed as his preferred position.
His return comes with Lyngby competing in Denmark’s top division, while Hacken play in Sweden’s Allsvenskan. Ngabo is registered with Lyngby until the end of the loan period, when he is due to return to Hacken.
Sanders Ngabo has therefore completed a season-long loan move from Hacken back to Lyngby BK.
