Raja Casablanca product Ziad Najari makes move to Renaissance Zemamra

Renaissance Zemamra have strengthened their squad for the new season with the signing of Raja Casablanca product Ziad Najari.

The Doukkali club moved for the midfielder after he impressed during a trial period under the supervision of the technical staff.

Najari earns Zemamra move after trial

According to a source close to Raja Casablanca, an agent initially recommended Najari to Renaissance Zemamra officials.

The club accepted the proposal and gave the player an opportunity to train with the team before presenting him to head coach Mehdi Alaoui Al-Marani and his technical staff.

Following the trial period, the coaching staff recommended that the club complete the signing.

Former Raja youngster starts new chapter

Najari, the son of former footballer Omar Najari, came through the youth ranks at Raja Casablanca before progressing to the first team.

However, his opportunities at senior level were limited, with the player eventually returning to the club’s youth setup.

He left Raja after terminating his contract at the end of last season and will now continue his career with Renaissance Zemamra.

The move gives the young Moroccan another opportunity to establish himself at senior level and develop his career away from Casablanca.
