Mame Mor Faye swaps Turkey’s top flight for Erokspor loan
Senegal winger Mame Mor Faye has joined Esenler Erokspor from fellow Turkish club Caykur Rizespor on loan, completing a move that takes the 21-year-old into the 1. Lig.
Faye’s agreement with Erokspor runs until 30 June 2027. He returns to the Istanbul-based club after previously spending the 2024-25 season there on loan from Rizespor.
The right winger began the current campaign with Rizespor in the Super Lig, making two appearances without starting either match. He moves to Erokspor having made 19 minutes of league football in his senior career at the top-flight level, according to the available match record.
Faye is a right-footed attacker and stands 1.82m tall. Born in Saint-Louis, Senegal, he joined Rizespor from Senegalese club AF Darou Salam in July 2023.
His first spell at Erokspor came during the 2024-25 season, when he moved there on loan after his arrival at Rizespor. That temporary stay ended in June 2025, with the winger returning to Rizespor before spending the following campaign at the Super Lig club.
The move gives Faye a return to familiar surroundings while placing him in Turkey’s second tier for the remainder of the 2026-27 season. Erokspor are his current club in the 1. Lig, while Rizespor retain his registration following the loan agreement.
At international level, Faye was part of the Senegal Under-20 side that won the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2023. That is the only major achievement recorded in his senior or youth career.
Faye’s market value is listed at €1m, and his career to date includes appearances in the Super Lig but no recorded goals or assists in the competition. His latest move is the second loan spell he has undertaken with Erokspor since joining Rizespor.
The transfer was completed on 2 September 2026, with Faye leaving Rizespor for Erokspor on a loan deal lasting until the end of June 2027.
