Recre Granada add Ghana teenager Emmanuel Ofori to midfield ranks

Emmanuel Ofori, the 18-year-old Ghanaian central midfielder, has joined Spanish club Recre Granada from Trival Vald U19.

Ofori’s move was completed on 1 September 2026, and he has agreed terms with Recre Granada through to 30 June 2028. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the switch.

The midfielder arrives after spending the previous season between Trival Vald U19 and Valencia U18. He initially joined Trival Vald from Ghanaian club Heart of Lions on 1 August 2025, before moving to Valencia in February 2026.

That spell at Valencia was a loan move and ended on 30 June, when Ofori returned to Trival Vald U19. He subsequently left the Madrid-based youth side to take up his latest challenge with Recre Granada.

Ofori’s listed position is central midfield. His career record includes 51 Premier League appearances and two goals, with 3,682 minutes played and an average of 1,841 minutes per goal.

He joins Recre Granada with a market value of €50,000 and a previous highest recorded value of €75,000. The Ghanaian has spent his recent footballing development in Spain after arriving at Trival Vald from Heart of Lions.

His international nationality is Ghana, while Recreativo Granada is listed as his national club association. The move continues Ofori’s progression through Spanish football following his time with Trival Vald, his temporary transfer to Valencia and his return to the Madrid club before switching to Recre Granada.

Ofori’s agreement gives Recre Granada a young central midfielder under contract for the next two seasons. His contract is scheduled to remain in force until the end of June 2028.

The completed move places the Ghanaian at his third Spanish club in just over a year, following his arrival at Trival Vald in August 2025 and his loan spell with Valencia during the 2025-26 campaign.

Ofori has now officially become a Recre Granada player on a contract lasting until 30 June 2028.
