Cameroon defender Colette Ndzana joins Fenerbahçe Women

Vice-captain of the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon, Colette Ndzana, has completed a move to Fenerbahçe, taking on a new challenge in the Turkish women’s league.

The 26-year-old has signed a one-season contract with the Istanbul-based club after leaving French top-flight side Dijon, where she spent the 2025/26 campaign.

Ndzana made 13 appearances for Dijon last season and contributed one assist before bringing her spell in France to an end.

Her move to Fenerbahçe comes just two weeks after a memorable triumph with Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Ndzana played an important role in Cameroon’s continental success, contributing to a historic campaign that saw the Indomitable Lionesses emerge as African champions.

Her performances during the tournament further underlined her importance to the national team, were she serves as vice-captain and remains one of the experienced figures in the squad.

The move to Fenerbahçe will now provide Ndzana with the opportunity to compete for major hours in Turkey while continuing her European career.

The former Eclair FC defender will also reunite with her Cameroon teammate Marie Gisele Ngah Manga at the Istanbul club. Ngah Manga recently joined Fenerbahçe, meaning the pair will now have the opportunity to work together at club level after representing Cameroon on the international stage.

Ndzana’s arrival is expected to strengthen Fenerbahçe’s defensive options as the Turkish champions prepare for another competitive domestic campaign.

For the Cameroonian defender, the move represents a fresh chapter in her European career and an opportunity to build on the success she enjoyed with the Indomitable Lionesses on the continental stage.
