US Boulogne add French-Cameroonian striker Luderic Etonde to Ligue 2 squad

French-Cameroonian striker Luderic Etonde has joined US Boulogne from Bordeaux on a free transfer, strengthening the Ligue 2 club’s attacking options.

The 26-year-old centre-forward moved to Boulogne on 1 September 2026 after one season with Bordeaux. He had joined Bordeaux from Les Herbiers in July 2025, also on a free transfer.

Etonde stands at 1.90m and is right-footed. His career record includes 10 goals in 26 appearances in National 1 Group A, while he scored 11 times in 18 National 2 Group D matches. He has also made 41 Ligue 3 appearances, scoring five goals and providing one assist.

His most productive campaign in the recorded figures came in National 2, where he scored once every 136 minutes. In National 1 Group A, he found the net once every 207 minutes and added 10 goals across his 26 league appearances.

Etonde began his senior career with Stade Laval B after leaving the FC Metz Under-19 set-up in 2019. He later moved into Stade Lavallois’ first-team structure before joining Paris 13 Atletico in 2022 on a free transfer.

The forward then switched to USL Dunkerque in January 2023. He spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Stade Briochin, making 16 National 1 Group C appearances and scoring four goals, before returning to Dunkerque at the end of the loan.

Etonde left Dunkerque in July 2024 and was without a club until joining Les Herbiers in November of that year. His move to Bordeaux followed eight months later, giving him a second free transfer in successive seasons before his latest switch to Boulogne.

He has also recorded three Ligue 2 appearances during his career, although the available figures do not include a goal or assist in those matches. His experience spans the French professional and semi-professional divisions, with appearances in Ligue 2, Ligue 3, National 1 and National 2.

Boulogne’s new forward now joins a club competing in France’s second tier, having most recently represented Bordeaux before completing his move to the northern French side.

Luderic Etonde’s transfer to US Boulogne was completed as a free transfer on 1 September 2026.
