Lecce eye Serie A move for Vitoria Guimaraes winger Oumar Camara
French-Malian winger Oumar Camara is being linked with a move from Vitoria Guimaraes to Lecce, with the Italian club considering a deal for the 19-year-old.
Camara has made four Liga Portugal appearances for Vitoria Guimaraes at the start of the 2026-27 season, although he has yet to score or provide an assist. The left winger has started half of those matches and has played 47% of the available minutes.
He joined the Portuguese club from Paris Saint-Germain’s Under-19 side in July 2025 on a free transfer and helped Vitoria Guimaraes win the Portuguese league cup during his first season. His current market value is €8m.
Camara’s contract with Vitoria Guimaraes runs until 30 June 2029, meaning Lecce would have to negotiate a permanent transfer rather than sign him as a free agent. A move would take him from Liga Portugal to Serie A, but there is no indication that an agreement has been reached.
Camara developed at PSG after joining the club’s youth system from Bobigny in 2020 and won the French Under-19 championship twice before moving to Portugal.
