Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Fofana has joined Albanian club FK Kukesi on loan from Konyaspor U19.

The 18-year-old moves to Kukesi after beginning the 2026-27 season with Konyaspor’s under-19 side in Turkey. Fofana has signed for the club on a loan deal running until 30 June 2027.

Fofana made two appearances in the U19 Super Lig before switching clubs, playing 135 minutes and receiving one yellow card. He started one of those matches and was involved in two of Konyaspor U19’s first three possible league games of the campaign.

The midfielder joined Konyaspor U19 earlier this month from Max United FC in a €30,000 transfer. His move to Kukesi therefore represents a change of club and country less than three weeks after arriving in Turkey.

Born in Bongouanou, Fofana is the latest player to move from Konyaspor’s youth setup into a senior club environment. Kukesi compete in Albania’s Kategoria e Pare, where the midfielder will continue his development during the 2026-27 season.

The loan agreement includes a scheduled return to Konyaspor U19 at its conclusion. Fofana’s spell with FK Kukesi was completed on 31 August 2026 and is due to end on 30 June 2027.
