Zakaria Aboukhlal transfer rumour: AJ Auxerre show interest in Torino winger
Moroccan-Dutch winger Zakaria Aboukhlal is the subject of a reported move from Torino to AJ Auxerre, with the Ligue 1 club linked with a transfer for the 26-year-old.
Aboukhlal joined Torino from Toulouse on 29 July 2025 in a deal worth €7.5m and remains contracted to the Serie A club until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €6m.
The right winger has made three appearances for Torino this season, featuring twice in Serie A and once in the Italian Cup. He has not started a match and has yet to record a goal or assist.
The potential move would represent a return to France for Aboukhlal, who spent the 2022-23 season with Toulouse and helped the club win the French Cup. He previously played for AZ Alkmaar after progressing through the youth systems at PSV Eindhoven and Willem II in the Netherlands.
Born in Rotterdam, Aboukhlal holds Moroccan and Dutch nationality and is able to operate on either foot. His limited involvement at Torino this season comes despite joining the club only a year ago, while his long-term contract means any move to Auxerre would involve a transfer rather than a free departure.
For now, Aboukhlal remains a Torino player, with the rumour linking him with a switch from Serie A to Ligue 1.
