Liverpool sign France winger Bradley Barcola from PSG for €125m

French winger Bradley Barcola has joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain for a €125m transfer fee, completing his move to the Premier League club on 31 August 2026.

The 23-year-old, who plays on the left wing and prefers his right foot, arrives at Anfield after three seasons with PSG. Barcola moved to the Paris club from Lyon in August 2023 for €45m and has since been part of a side that dominated French football and enjoyed success in Europe.

Barcola won the Champions League with PSG in both the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. He also collected three French league titles, two French Cups and three French Super Cups during his time in Paris.

His honours list expanded further in 2025-26 with victory in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, while he also won the Uefa Super Cup twice with PSG. The most recent of those successes came in the 2026-27 campaign before his switch to Liverpool.

Barcola enters his new club after an outstanding World Cup campaign in 2026. He played in eight matches, scoring three goals and providing one assist. He started half of those games and featured for 53% of the available minutes.

The forward was born in Villeurbanne and holds French and Togolese nationality. Standing 1.87m tall, he developed through Lyon’s youth system before progressing to the club’s reserve side and senior team. His move to PSG was the first major transfer of his senior career.

Barcola’s arrival also represents a significant financial commitment from Liverpool. His €125m fee is higher than the €90m market value recorded before the transfer and makes the France winger one of the most expensive additions in the club’s history.

He joins Liverpool while listed as the club’s number 29 and will continue his career in the Premier League after moving from France’s Ligue 1. The transfer was completed on 31 August 2026, with Barcola now officially a Liverpool player.
