Liverpool linked with Saint-Etienne forward Djylian N’Guessan

France and Ivory Coast forward Djylian N’Guessan has been linked with a move from Saint-Etienne to Liverpool.

The 18-year-old centre-forward is currently with Saint-Etienne in Ligue 2, while Liverpool are being linked with a move to take him to the Premier League. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported in connection with the rumour.

N’Guessan has not made an appearance in any of Saint-Etienne’s three possible Ligue 2 matches at the start of the 2026-27 season. He joined the club’s senior setup from Saint-Etienne B in January 2025, having progressed through the club’s youth teams.

The forward was born in Saint-Nazaire and holds French and Ivorian nationality. He is listed at 1.80m and is predominantly right-footed.

N’Guessan’s current contract with Saint-Etienne runs until 30 June 2027.
