Malaga consider Everton defender Adam Aznou as La Liga move emerges
Morocco and Spain defender Adam Aznou, who plays for Everton, has been linked with a move to Malaga.
The 20-year-old left-back is being considered for a switch from the Premier League to La Liga, with the proposed move emerging on 31 August. No transfer has been confirmed.
Aznou has made one appearance for Everton this season, playing nine minutes in the EFL Cup, while he has yet to feature in the Premier League. His limited involvement comes after he joined the club from Bayern Munich in July 2025 in a deal worth €9m.
The defender’s current market value is listed at €6m, although there is no reported probability or agreed fee attached to the rumour. Aznou remains under contract with Everton until 30 June 2029.
He began his senior career at Bayern after leaving Barcelona’s youth system and spent part of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Real Valladolid before returning to Germany. He was part of Bayern’s German championship-winning squad in 2024-25.
Aznou was born in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and holds Moroccan and Spanish nationality. He has represented Spain at youth level, including the Under-17 side that won the Torneio Internacional Algarve U17 in 2023.
For now, the left-back remains an Everton player, with his long-term contract in place as the Malaga link develops.
