Werder Bremen weigh Bundesliga move for Anderlecht defender Moussa Ndiaye

Senegalese left-back Moussa Ndiaye is the subject of a possible move from RSC Anderlecht to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

The 24-year-old returned to Anderlecht in June after spending the second half of last season on loan at FC Schalke 04, helping the German club win the second tier. He joined Schalke in February before returning to Belgium when the loan ended.

Ndiaye has featured in seven competitive matches for Anderlecht this season, including four Europa League qualifying appearances and three in the Jupiler Pro League. He has yet to score or provide an assist, and has started one-third of his European qualifying appearances.

A move to Werder would see Ndiaye return to Germany after his spell with Schalke. The potential transfer is currently assessed at a 64% probability, while his market value is listed at €4m.

Ndiaye joined Anderlecht from Barcelona’s reserve side in August 2022 and remains under contract with the Belgian club until 30 June 2028. Any negotiations would therefore involve a player tied to Anderlecht for two more seasons, rather than one approaching the end of his contract.
