Suleman Sani transfer: Al-Qadsiah consider move for Leipzig winger
Suleman Sani, the Nigerian left winger at Leipzig, has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah.
The 19-year-old joined Leipzig from AS Trencin on 13 January 2026 in a deal worth €5m. He signed a contract running until 30 June 2031, with his current market value also listed at €5m.
Sani has yet to make an appearance for Leipzig in the Bundesliga or DFB-Pokal this season. He was not involved in the club’s opening league game or its first cup fixture of the 2026-27 campaign.
The proposed move would take the winger from the Bundesliga to the Saudi Pro League, although the link has not been presented as a completed transfer. No fee or agreement between the clubs has been established.
Sani began his senior career with Nigerian side Akwa United before moving to Trencin in September 2024. Leipzig then brought him to Germany less than 18 months later, completing a transfer that represented a significant rise in his club career.
He remains under contract with Leipzig for five more seasons beyond the current campaign.
