French-Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Gourari Tebaa brings experience from Luxembourg to MC Algiers

French-Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Gourari Tebaa has joined MC Algiers from FC Atert Bissen, completing a move to the Algerian Ligue 1 club.

The 25-year-old, who was born in Aubergenville, joined MC Algiers on 30 August 2026 after leaving FC Atert Bissen, where he had played since 2023. The transfer marks a move from Luxembourg’s BGL Ligue to Algeria’s top flight.

Gourari Tebaa stands at 1.97m and plays as a goalkeeper. He is also listed as right-footed, adding a notable physical profile to MC Algiers’ squad as he begins the next stage of his career.

Before joining the Luxembourg club, Gourari Tebaa spent two seasons with SAS Epinal. He moved there from FC Metz B in February 2022, having previously progressed through FC Metz’s under-19 side.

His route into senior football began at AS Meudon’s under-18 team, from where he joined FC Metz U19 in 2019. He then stepped up to FC Metz B before moving on to SAS Epinal and later FC Atert Bissen.

Gourari Tebaa’s arrival in Algiers is his first recorded move outside the European clubs of his earlier career. He holds French and Moroccan nationality and now joins a club competing in Ligue 1, with the switch taking him into a new domestic football environment.

MC Algiers have secured the goalkeeper’s services on a contract running until 30 June 2028.
