Eintracht Frankfurt agree Jean-Matteo Bahoya deal with Hull City
Eintracht Frankfurt have reached an agreement with Hull City over Jean-Matteo Bahoya, but the winger’s future is still not fully decided.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the Bundesliga club and the Premier League newcomers are now aligned on the terms, leaving the final choice to the 21-year-old.
Bahoya has spent two and a half years in Frankfurt, yet he has never fully established himself in the first team. That has opened the door to a possible move, and Hull now appear to be in pole position to land him. Even so, the Frenchman is expected to weigh his options carefully before making a call.
The situation is not short of interest. In recent days and weeks, several clubs have been linked with Bahoya, including AC Milan, which suggests he still has a market beyond England. Frankfurt have given the green light for an exit, but the winger must now decide whether the step to Hull fits his next stage of development.
For Frankfurt, the deal could end a long-running question over his future. For Bahoya, it is a chance to reset his career in a new league.
