Senegal winger Mor Talla makes Bukovyna switch from RFS in €300,000 deal

Senegal winger Mor Talla has joined Ukrainian club Bukovyna from Latvian side RFS for €300,000, completing a move that takes the 27-year-old into the Premier Liga.

Talla, who plays on the right wing and favours his left foot, leaves RFS after 20 months with the Latvian club. He joined RFS from Auda on a free transfer on 1 January 2025.

The move sees Talla change both club and country after a spell in Latvia that included appearances for three clubs. Before joining RFS, he spent time with Auda and Riga, while his earlier career included Senegalese club Diambars FC.

Talla won the Latvian Cup twice during his time in the country. He was part of the Auda side that lifted the trophy in 2022 before winning the competition again with Riga in 2023.

He arrives at Bukovyna as a right-sided attacking player with a market value of €400,000. His previous highest recorded market value was €550,000.

Talla’s move to Ukraine follows the start of the 2026-27 campaign, during which he was listed in RFS’ squad for UEFA Conference League qualifying. He did not make an appearance in the competition before switching clubs.

Bukovyna compete in Ukraine’s Premier Liga, while RFS play in Latvia’s Virsliga. Talla’s arrival therefore represents a move into a different domestic league after his lengthy period in Latvian football.

Born in Guinaw Rails on 7 January 1999, Talla is 27 and stands 1.62 metres tall. His international nationality is Senegal, and he has spent most of his senior club career in Europe since leaving Diambars FC.

The transfer continues a sequence of moves in which Talla has changed clubs several times since 2022. He joined Auda from Diambars FC in March 2022, moved to Riga on loan at the start of 2023 and returned to Auda at the end of that year before signing for RFS.

Talla has signed a contract with Bukovyna running until 30 June 2028.
