Ladji Lancine Bamba: Ivorian winger joins Shirak Gyumri from CO Korhogo

Ladji Lancine Bamba has joined Armenian Premier League club Shirak Gyumri from Ivorian side CO Korhogo.

The 23-year-old Ivorian plays as a left winger and switches clubs after one season with CO Korhogo. The move was completed on 27 August 2026, bringing Bamba to his first club outside Cote d’Ivoire.

Bamba has already featured in the CAF Confederation Cup, making two appearances and scoring once in the competition. His arrival gives Shirak an attacking player who operates from the left side and prefers his right foot.

The winger joined CO Korhogo on 1 July 2025 after spending the previous season with FC Mouna. He had also played for FC San Pedro and Issia Wazy FC earlier in his career.

Born in Sokorodougou on 1 January 2003, Bamba stands 1.80m tall. His move to Shirak represents a new stage in his career as he begins playing in Armenia after progressing through clubs in Ivorian football.

Shirak Gyumri have now added Bamba to their squad ahead of his involvement in the Armenian top flight. No contract length has been announced for the player, who has been registered with the club from 27 August 2026.

Bamba’s career has included spells at four Ivorian clubs, with his move to Shirak following his most recent period at CO Korhogo. His experience in the CAF Confederation Cup also provides continental competition exposure as he starts his time with the Armenian side.

The completed transfer takes the left winger from CO Korhogo to Shirak Gyumri, with Bamba becoming a Shirak player on 27 August 2026.
