AS Kasserine bring in Tunisian full-back Ahmed Touaybi from US Tataouine

Tunisian right-back Ahmed Touaybi has joined AS Kasserine from US Tataouine on a free transfer.

Touaybi, 31, switches clubs after spending the 2025-26 season with US Tataouine. His move to AS Kasserine was completed on 27 August 2026, adding an experienced defender to the Kasserine squad ahead of the new campaign.

The full-back joined US Tataouine from AS Jelma in July 2025, also moving without a transfer fee. That followed a three-year spell at AS Jelma, where he arrived from SC Moknine in September 2022.

Touaybi had previously spent one season with SC Moknine after leaving US Ksour Essef in September 2021. His move to US Ksour Essef came from CS Ouerdanine in September 2020, giving him a record of successive club changes within Tunisian football.

His recorded competitive appearances include two matches in the Tunisian Cup, with 180 minutes played. The available record identifies him as a defender whose main position is right-back.

The transfer continues a run of free moves for Touaybi, who has changed clubs without a fee in each of his listed transfers since leaving CS Ouerdanine. His latest switch is also his first recorded move to AS Kasserine, following his season at US Tataouine.

Touaybi’s arrival comes as part of the club’s preparations for the 2026-27 season. No contract expiry date has been given for his agreement with AS Kasserine, but the transfer itself has been completed.

The Tunisia-born defender has now moved from US Tataouine to AS Kasserine, completing the free transfer on 27 August 2026.
