Ghazl El Mahalla name attacking trio as Modern Sport turn to Mostafa Makhlouf

Ghazl El Mahalla will start with Abdo Yehia, Saeedi Kibo and Hazem El Askary in attack against Modern Sport in the second round of the league, while Mostafa Makhlouf has been selected to guard the visitors’ goal.

The match, involving two sides looking for their first league win of the campaign, is due to take place shortly. Ghazl El Mahalla head coach Ahmed Khattab has opted for an attacking trio, with Makhlouf chosen by Modern Sport manager Mohamed Amin Benhachem as his goalkeeper.

At the other end of the pitch, Ghazl El Mahalla will rely on Abdo Yehia, Saeedi Kibo and Hazem El Askary to lead their attack. The trio will be tasked with improving a side that began the league season with a heavy defeat.

Walid Mostafa, Ghannam Mohamed, Mohamed Sabry and Mohamed Massad make up the midfield, with Michael Esfoun and Mahmoud Mamdouh selected as the attacking pair.

Ghazl El Mahalla lost 3-0 at home to Pyramids in the opening round. That result leaves them seeking a response in their second league fixture, with Khattab’s chosen front three providing the main focus of their line-up.

Modern Sport, meanwhile, began their campaign with a point after drawing 1-1 away at El Gouna. Benhachem has retained Makhlouf in goal for the meeting with Ghazl El Mahalla, as his team look to build on that result.
