Senegalese striker Ibrahima Baldé emerges as Rangers priority before deadline

Rangers have identified Senegalese-born Rodez striker Ibrahima Baldé as one of their main targets as the Scottish club look to add another centre-forward before the transfer window closes.

The 23-year-old has made an impressive start to the season in Ligue 2, scoring four goals in his opening three league appearances. His form has reportedly placed him high on Rangers’ list of potential attacking additions.

Baldé joined Rodez in July 2024 after coming through the academy at RC Lens. Since arriving at the club, he has steadily developed into one of their most productive attacking players.
