Ahmed Suleiman, a board member of Zamalek Club, insisted on observing a minute of silence during the press conference held to unveil the new signings across various sports.

The gesture paid homage to the souls lost in the tragic incident at the Air Defense Stadium.

The Zamalek Club’s board of directors convened a press conference to introduce the new acquisitions for all the different sports teams within “The White Castle.”

Present at the conference were the new coaching staff and a gathering of iconic figures and former stars from various sports at the club.

Notable attendees included Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala,” the captain of the first football team, Abdelwahed El-Sayed, the club’s football director, and Ahmed El Ahmar, the captain of the handball team.

The decision to observe a minute of silence underscores the club’s deep respect and commemoration for the victims of the tragic incident at the Air Defense Stadium.

The event aimed to combine the excitement of introducing new talent with a solemn moment to honor those who lost their lives.
